Our mission

Our pets are family members. They are an essential part of our lives. They go with us through joy and the most challenging moments. They deserve the best. But what is the best?

The story of Dr. Alber Health products starts in 2006. His family dog, Struppi, a mix between Hovawart, Bernese Mountain dog and Labrador, was only eight years old but couldn’t walk the stairs or jump into the car. Struppi suffered from significant mobility issues, and the sole goal was to bring him back to an everyday and happy life. Keeping family members on cortisone and painkillers was not an option.  Dr. Alber tried all the best veterinarian dietary products and pharmaceutical treatments available. But even the best solutions from worldwide brands had no sustainable effect. Attempts to use human products rich in glucosamine, chondroitin, green lip mussel extract, MSM, Curcuma, and everything that could be helpful to lead to the same results. The effect of food components on the organisms of mammals is the topic of Dr. Alber’s PhD work.

Nutriogenomics AG combines knowledge from genome research, plant cultivation, and modern medicine. Our goal is developing products that can be applied in medical prevention and therapeutic treatments. Nutriogenomic AG discoveries include new aspects of modern biotechnological research. Through the use of modern biotechnological techniques, supported by knowledge of the human genome analysis, Nutriogenomics AG strives to develop and manufacture nutritional supplements that show proven and efficient clinical results. Nutritional genomics is a class of nutritional counseling, which is seeking to find the optimal diet through genetic metabolic analysis. At the moment, our research concentrates on further decoding of the human genome as well as researching the reasons for different widespread diseases, and/or nutritionally caused diseases. Our goal is to support individual health using specific, natural nutritional components, not through modification of the genetic blueprint.
